September 16, 2000 Derrek Khajavi and Neal Wright piloted the Huntley
Racing Red 944 N/A to a 1st. place finish in their class, lapping the
2nd. place car in the process during the Buttonwillow 100 mile
Enduro. Good race guys!
Sunday September 17, 2000, Neal Wright
piloted the Huntley Racing Red 944 N/A to a 2nd. place finish in the
club race. Good job Neal!
On both days the Huntley Racing Red
944 N/A ran flawlessly throughout numerous practice run groups, a 100
mile enduro, and a club race despite aggressive driving from both Neal
and Derrek hopping berms, straightening chicanes, and the occasional off
road excursion. |

Here's Neal
Wright (driver 1) going off the track coming out of the last
corner. He manages to "hang on" big time to save
it. He got lucky. |

| Above is a
yellow 914 that was very fast, coming out of that famous last
corner. He didn't manage to "hang on", and proceeded to
"burry the car". No save. In fact, he'll need a
shower after this one ;-) |
|
| Here's Chris
Cervelli going off the track in the same spot as the two cars
above. No save here. |

Here's a yellow
996 going off the track in the exact same spot as the above 3
drivers. Must be a difficult turn for some reason ;-)... he saved
it. |
|
| Here we are for
the mandatory driver change approximately midway in the race.
Derrek Khajavi is getting ready to drive. Neal Wright is finishing
checking the oil and closing the hood. |

|
| The
"other" team had to cheat! They threw out a decoy @!*# |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| This is why so
many drivers went off the track. They were blinded coming out of
the last turn! |
|
 |
(row
above)...she made me run off the track. It was her! |
|
(row above)...
quit looking at the decoy Neal!!! |

 |
 |
| There was some
serious machinery at this race. Can you tell? |

These photos
were of cars coming in on the 100 mile enduro, for the mandatory driver
change/pit stop. |
