Huntley Racing - Light Weight Racing Crankshafts

Huntley Racing Perp drilled, allen screw plugged, knife-edged, lightened, balanced and polished HR Stage III crank.  We took 17# of weight off losing no strength.

Below is a photo of our Perp drilled, allen screw plugged, knife-edged, lightened, balanced and polished HR Stage III crank.  We re-directed the oil flow at the bearings to stop rod bearing failures.

All of our Stage lll cranks are converted to screw in oil plugs to prevent premature failure.  Knife-edgeding the counterweights to cut down on windage and removing all non-critical mass results in more power down to the ground!

The following features are part of the HR Racing Crankshafts:

  • Re-directed the oil flow at the bearings to stop rod bearing failures.
  • Converted to screw in oil plugs to prevent premature failure.
  • Knife-edged the counterweights to cut down on windage.
  • Removed non critical mass to get more HP to the wheels.

Maximize your light weight engine reciprocating mass by combining this light weight crankshaft with our light weight racing flywheel!

  • Stage I Perp drilled, manafluxed, polished and balanced, allen plugged $400
  • Stage II - Perp drilled, magnafluxed, polished, balanced, allen plugged, 1st or second under rods or mains (both add $100) crank work (for cars with spun bearings) $600
  • Stage III - Perp drilled, magnafluxed, polished, balanced, allen plugged, lightened, knife edged crank work $900
  • Stage IV - Perp drilled, magnafluxed, polished, balanced, allen plugged, lightened, knife edged 1st or second under rods or mains (both add $100) crank work (for cars with spun bearings) $1000

NOTE!! Some cranks can not be turned to 1st or 2nd under sizes and are no longer able to use Porsche bearings! (HR has custom bearings for these situations).
