HUNTLEY RACING CYLANDER HEAD SERVICE
We have staged head building from a basic rebuild to a fully prepped race head. These are not the common quick build heads our competition sells but hand built units with extreme attention to detail. Our Master head man John Bridges with 30+ years of race head building experience builds all our heads. John will treat your head with the best service that one-on-one craftsmanship can. Every head is handled individually unlike the typical assembly line techniques used industry wide. John uses the latest in Sunnen valve machines for our 5-angle valve jobs and the best Super Flow airflow bench available. Come in and say hi to John and take a tour of our full engine machine facilities.

944 Turbo Heads
$750 core charge applies

Stage I - Basic re-build with new valve guides, valve stem seals, proper shimming, seat work, fully assembled. Price $500

Stage II - Same as stage one plus flow benched hand porting and aggressive valve seat work (like dyno tuning, flow bench testing is the only way to port and polish). This is not your basic P&P job! Price $800

Stage III - Same as stage two plus S/S O-rings are pressed into precision receiver grooves we cut into the sealing surface of each cylinder to help resist detonation and extreme boost levels.

944 N/A, 928 2V (X2)
$500 core charge applies

Stage I - Basic re-build with new valve guides, valve stem seals, proper shimming, seat work, fully assembled. Price $500

Stage II - Same as stage one plus flow benched hand porting and aggressive valve seat work (like dyno tuning, flow bench testing is the only way to port and polish). This is not your basic P&P job! We also add .3 to .5 compression points during the surface job. Price $875

944 S, S2, 968, 928 4V (X2)
$2000 core charge applies

Stage I - Basic re-build with new valve guides, valve stem seals, proper shimming, seat work, fully assembled. Price $800

Stage II - Same as stage one plus flow benched hand porting and aggressive valve seat work (like dyno tuning, flow bench testing is the only way to port and polish). This is not your basic P&P job! We also add .3 to .5 compression points during the surface job. Price $1200

OPTIONS: (X2 for 928)

O-rings - Add O-rings to any head to help seal extra compression or boosted applications. Price $200

Ceramic Coating - Add Ceramic coating to the chamber, exhaust ports, and valve heads, to keep the heat in the exhaust and out of the head. Price $300

Race Spring Kit - Our kit has: race vandeminium high yield springs, titanium retainers, custom cups, and race locks for increased RPM potential from the lower mass and better valve control. These will add extra security for the occasional over rev and allow for big cams without the risk of binding up. Slight machine work is necessary during installation. These are the same springs that have won Le Mans, Datona, Sebring etc… Over and over again! Price 8V $450, Price 16V $800

Custom CB Valve seats - We offer upgrades copper beryllium valve seats for both 8V and 16V applications for both stock and for oversize valves. These seats are very tough and transfer heat away very well. Prices include installation: Price 8V set $400, Price 16V set $640

Big Valve Conversion (Hyd.) - We can maintain the hydraulic lifter set-up and oversize the valves on all the heads we do. This greatly improves the flow potential and allows for further high RPM power development. Call for custom pricing.

Solid Cam/Lifter Conversion - We can convert your 8V or 16V head to run with lightweight non-hydraulic hollow lifters and more flexible solid cam profiles (any grind). The kit includes: Non-hydraulic hollow lifter set, shims, custom solid cam profile (your choice). Price 8V $1050, Price 16V $2000

Big Valve Conversion (Solid) - With a solid cam/lifter set-up we can also easily accommodate larger and lighter valves. We will run reduced stem sizes, custom valve guides, custom locks etc.. and make for a truly world class wining head. Call for custom pricing
